Fast Fashion
My retail story begins as a romantic tale. Before my tiny hands were strong enough to hold a shopping bag, my eyes were mesmerized by shimmering shelves and elegant storefront windows. Today I still inhale the freshness of fashion retail and allow it to perpetuate my motion. I've observed others sharing in this momentum and attest to the undeniable interaction between industry and humanity. Through my work experience as a sales associate at the ever-expanding boutique Dress Up, I handled boxes of new inventory on a weekly basis. Before a garment had time to settle on a hanger, it flew off the rack. We want to learn. We want to explore. Retailers want to share. So who's really controlling the ins and outs of fast fashion's swinging door?
